No Data Corruption & Data Integrity
What exactly does the 'No Data Corruption & Data Integrity' slogan mean to every hosting account user?
Data corruption is the unintentional transformation of a file or the loss of information which often occurs during reading or writing. The reason may be hardware or software fail, and due to this fact, a file can become partially or entirely corrupted, so it'll no longer work properly as its bits will be scrambled or missing. An image file, for instance, will no longer display an actual image, but a random combination of colors, an archive will be impossible to unpack since its content will be unreadable, etcetera. When such a problem occurs and it is not identified by the system or by an administrator, the data will get corrupted silently and when this happens on a disk drive that's part of a RAID array where the info is synced between various different drives, the corrupted file shall be reproduced on all of the other drives and the harm will become long term. A large number of commonly used file systems either do not feature real-time checks or do not have good ones which can detect an issue before the damage is done, so silent data corruption is a common problem on internet hosting servers where huge volumes of info are kept.

No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Cloud Website Hosting
We warrant the integrity of the information uploaded in any
cloud website hosting account which is generated on our cloud platform since we employ the advanced ZFS file system. The latter is the only one that was designed to avoid silent data corruption thanks to a unique checksum for each file. We will store your info on a number of SSD drives that function in a RAID, so the same files will be accessible on several places concurrently. ZFS checks the digital fingerprint of all the files on all of the drives in real time and if the checksum of any file is different from what it needs to be, the file system replaces that file with a healthy copy from some other drive from the RAID. No other file system uses checksums, so it's possible for data to be silently damaged and the bad file to be reproduced on all drives with time, but since this can never happen on a server using ZFS, you don't have to worry about the integrity of your data.

No Data Corruption & Data Integrity in Semi-dedicated Servers
In case you go for one of our
semi-dedicated server packages, you will not have to be concerned about silent data corruption because we use ZFS - a high level file system that checks all files in real time. Each time you upload a file to your website hosting account, ZFS will assign a unique digital fingerprint to it - the so-called checksum. The file will be synced between a couple of SSD drives for redundancy, so if a drive fails, the other ones will take over. ZFS compares the checksum of all copies on the different drives and if it detects a damaged copy, it replaces it with a healthy one from another drive. This happens immediately, so there will be no danger for any part of your content at any time. In contrast, all of the other file systems execute checks after a system malfunction, but since they do not use anything similar to the checksums which ZFS uses, they cannot detect silently corrupted files, so a bad copy could be replicated on the rest of the drives as well and you could lose precious info. As this is not the case with ZFS, we warrant the integrity of each file you upload no matter what.
