Domain Backorder
Understand more about domain backorders. See how you'll be able to place a domain name backorder yourself.
When a domain expires, there's a time period of a little over 2 months when it's not active, but could still be renewed by the current user. During this period, the domain cannot be taken by anybody else, but in case it is not renewed, it gets into the so-called Pending Deletion period that lasts 5 days. This is the time when ICANN-accredited registrar firms accept backorders for this kind of domain names. When a specific name is backordered, the registrar will make an attempt to register it for the customer right after it is deleted and available to the general public, which gives people the chance to acquire a short and easy to remember domain that may have been employed by some other person up until this moment. If the domain is quite appealing, several companies may try to register it in the same time and due to the fact that this happens on a first-come, first-serve basis, there is no guarantee that a specific person will get that domain. Nevertheless, using a backorder service will give you a lot better chance to obtain a specific domain than when you try to register it yourself.

Domain Backorder in Cloud Website Hosting
You shall be able to backorder domains from your Hepsia Control Panel because we work with an ICANN-licensed registrar company and we provide this service as a part of all
cloud website hosting packages. This way, you shall not need a separate account and you will be able to control the recently purchased domain and the hosting space for it in one place. The service has its own part in the Control Panel where you will find all domains due to be deleted in the following five days. For a more precise search, you will be able to use several filters that we have added - minimum and maximum number of characters, domain extension, exact deletion date, etc. In addition, you'll be able to search exclusively for domain names which contain dictionary words or specify a phrase of your choice. Ordering a domain from the list will take you only a click and in the event that we're unable to register the desired name, your money will not be lost and you shall be able to use it for domain registrations, renewals and / or backorders in the future.

Domain Backorder in Semi-dedicated Servers
We've decided to add a domain backorder service to the Hepsia Control Panel which is included with all
semi-dedicated server accounts, so you won't have to register with a separate platform. The service will enable you to register a domain and host it in a single place. All of the domain names planned to be erased in the following days will be listed in the Backorder section of Hepsia and you will be able to browse them in alphabetical order. To narrow the number, you will be able to search by an exact phrase, set the minimum and maximum number of characters the domain name should contain, and choose a particular extension. You'll also be able to search through domain names by the exact date they'll be erased. Because there is no 100% guarantee that we shall be able to register a given domain, if our attempt is not successful, the funds for that domain name will be available as a credit within your account and will not be wasted.

Domain Backorder in Dedicated Servers
A domain backorder section is available as a part of the billing Control Panel of the
dedicated servers which we provide because we are a licensed registrar company. The service will help you to discover good domain names without registering for another platform and you shall be able to place an order with only a mouse click. All domains which will be deleted in the following days will be listed in that section and you will be able to set various filters to narrow the list and browse only domains which interest you - minimum/maximum length, the date of deletion, extension, etc. Also, you'll be able to browse only domains that contain dictionary words or ones which contain a phrase that you enter, thus saving the time and efforts to go through numerous random names. If you order a given domain name and we cannot register it, we'll credit your account and you won't lose your funds.
